Oh Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen let nothing you dismay. For centuries we celebrate every year on this day. To keep our spirits merry we feast, sing, dance and play. O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy. O tidings of comfort and joy. From the near and far the people gathered. Joyous all they came. When others heard of all the joy the tradition gained fame. It spread around the world and became known by many names. O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy. O tidings of comfort and joy. This time of year we must be sure to fellow man be kind. Be true to this and much joy and happiness you will find. So every family celebrate in any way you mind. O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy. O tidings of comfort and joy.

The Holly and the Ivy, when they are both full grown. Of all the trees that are in the wood, the holly bears the crown. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir The holly bears a blossom as white as lily flower. Good will to men and our neighbours, children playing in the wood. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir. The holly bears a berry as red as any blood. Good will to men and our neighbours, and to the poor be good. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir. The holly bears a prickle as sharp as any thorn. Good will to men and our neighbours on Christmas Day in the morn. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir. The holly bears a bark as bitter as any gall. Good will to men and our neighbours. Good tidings to us all. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir. The Holly and the Ivy, now both are full well grown. Of all the trees that are in the wood, the holly bears the crown. O the rising of the sun, and the running of the deer. The playing of the merry organ, sweet singing of the choir.

Mommy is under mistletoe. Daddy runs beneath it, too. Mommy’s cheeks are all aglow as he steals a kiss or two. Presents under the tree. Pretty little bows are tied. What presents will be there for me? Maybe just a peek inside? I can smell spicy gingerbread in the oven baking. So many lovely treats ahead. It’s Christmas in the making. My brother outside calls to me, "grab your coat, hat, scarf and gloves! Come outside and play with me!" Mum calls out “be careful loves!” Snow crunches under our feet. We take turns pulling the sled. To climb the hill will be a feat, but worth the fun ahead. Twisting turning down the hill, the winds against our faces. At the bottom the world is still, but we don’t know this place. We are Lost in the Snow. Which way is home? We do not know. Find our tracks, and we’ll find our way back following our foot prints. Star of wonder, star so bright, guide us to our home tonight. Not intended but we’re intrepid. Hand in hand we’ll find our way home. There’s our home the lights so bright. We’ll make it home yet tonight. Listen brother, don’t tell mother. It will be our little secret.

Here We Come A-wassailing among the leaves so green. Here we come a-wand'ring so fair to be seen. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year. We are not daily beggers that beg from door to door, but we are neighbours' children whom you have seen before. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year. Good master and good mistress, as you sit beside the fire, please think of us poor children who wander in the mire. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year. We have a little purse made of ratching leather skin. We want some of your small change to line it well within. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year. Bring us out a table, and spread it with a cloth. Bring us out a cheese and of your Christmas loaf. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year. We bless the master of this house. Likewise the mistress too, and all the little children that round the table go. Love and joy come to you, and to you your wassail, too, and good greetings and may you have a a Happy New Year, and may you have a Happy New Year.

Hark are the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say, throw cares away. Christmas is here, bringing good cheer, to young and old, meek and the bold. Ding dong ding dong that is their song with joyful ring all caroling. One seems to hear words of good cheer from everywhere filling the air. Oh how they pound, raising the sound, o’er here and there, telling their tale. Gaily they ring while people sing songs of good cheer, Christmas is here. Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas. Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas. Come, on they send, on without end, their joyful tone to every home. I heard the bells on Christmas Day. Their old familiar carols play, and wild and sweet the words repeat of peace on earth, good will to men. And thought how, as the day had stood, the belfries of all brotherhood had rolled along the unbroken song of peace on earth, good will to men. Till ringing, singing on its way, the world revolved from night to day. A voice, a chime, a chant sublime of peace on earth, good will to men. And in despair I bowed my head; "There is no peace on earth," I said; "For hate is strong, and mocks the song of peace on earth, good will to men." Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: "We are not dead; nor doth we sleep! The wrong shall fail, the right prevail, with peace on earth, good will to men!"

What Day Is This? It's Christmas Eve, and everyone is gathering. We greet dear friends with open arms while children pretend to be sleeping. Back, back to your beds little ones. Tomorrow brings a special morn. Close tight your eyes dear babes. We'll see you in the morning. With food and drink and cheerful songs we celebrate all through the night. The children creep out in hopes to catch a glimpse of the joyful sights. Back, back to your beds little ones. Tomorrow brings a special morn. Close tight your eyes dear babes. We'll see you in the morning. It's nearly dawn everyone is at home in their beds warming. The children wake with sparkling eyes. They race to enjoy Christmas morning. Get out of your beds Mum & Dad, today it is Christmas morning. Open your eyes and be glad. Let's celebrate Christmas morning.

While we all were sleeping warm in our beds last night, our parents stayed up late and strung the house with lights, oh Go Tell It On The Mountain, over the hills and everywhere; Go Tell It On The Mountain that Christmas time is here. As the days grew colder, we knew it must be near. We waited so patiently for almost a whole year, oh Go Tell It On The Mountain, over the hills and everywhere; Go Tell It On The Mountain that Christmas time is here. With chocolate treats we count down until that special day. The best is Christmas morning when the sun shines its first ray, oh Go Tell It On The Mountain, over the hills and everywhere; Go Tell It On The Mountain that Christmas time is here. Every day is filled with joy our family and friends. We'll play fun games and laugh. We'll be sad when it ends, oh Go Tell It On The Mountain, over the hills and everywhere; Go Tell It On The Mountain that Christmas time is here. On Christmas Eve we plead to stay up all night long. We're too excited to sleep, so let's have a sing along, oh Go Tell It On The Mountain, over the hills and everywhere; Go Tell It On The Mountain that Christmas Eve is here.

O Christmas Eve, the stars are brightly shining. It is the night of dear friends and family. Long lay the world the babes asleep and dreaming. In the morn they will wake anxiously. A thrill of hope their family rejoices, for the sky brings the surprise for Christmas Morn. Fall flakes of snow! We'll hear delighted voices. O night divine, the night before Christmas Morn; O night, O Christmas Eve, O night divine. Shimmer in the lights that are strung and gleaming. We watch from the window, smiling hand in hand. O'er the world the snow is gently falling, It is more perfect than we had planned. The babes in bed their family rejoices. The best gift of all, a snowy Christmas Morn. Fall flakes of snow! We'll hear delighted voices. O night divine, the night before Christmas Morn; O night, O Christmas Eve , O night divine Fall flakes of snow! We'll hear delighted voices. O night divine, the night before Christmas Morn; O night, O Christmas Eve , O night divine O Christmas Eve, a night like no other. A night for joy, tenderness and peace. Love fills the air, we are sisters and brothers. Good will to all, and may good tidings increase. It's nearly morning, the family rejoices. When they wake we'll hear delighted voices. Fall flakes of snow! We'll hear delighted voices. O night divine, the night before Christmas Morn; O night, O Christmas Eve , O night divine Fall flakes of snow! We'll hear delighted voices. O night divine, the night before Christmas Morn; O night, O Christmas Eve , O night divine

Everyone has somewhere to be, Everyone has something to do, Everyone Has Someone to love, On Christmas Except Me. The shopping malls are chock-a-block. Are they showing their love or just showing off? Am I a cynic? well maybe. But what else can I be when? Everyone has somewhere to be, Everyone has something to do, Everyone Has Someone to love, On Christmas Except Me. It might as well be April Fools. The joke is on me who ridicules. The New Year could be a new beginning. What have I got to lose? What have I got to lose when? Everyone has somewhere to be, something to do, someone to love, somewhere to be something to do, Someone On Christmas Except Me. Sometimes I find a little glimpse inside the world of love and happiness, good times. Just a flicker of hope.

Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should old acquaintance be forgot, and Auld Lang Syne. For Auld Lang Syne, my dear, for Auld Lang Syne. We'll take a cup o kindness yet for Auld Lang Syne. For Auld Lang Syne. Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should old acquaintance be forgot, and Auld Lang Syne. For Auld Lang Syne, my dear, for Auld Lang Syne. We'll take a cup o kindness yet for Auld Lang Syne.
